AGR Petroleum Services employee writes article for the Journal of Sedimentary Research!

The article, titled "Diagenetic evolution and porosity destruction of turbiditic hybrid arenites and siliciclastic sandstones of foreland basins: evidence from the Eocene Hecho Group, Pyrenees, Spain" written by our very own Howri Mansuberg was accepted for publication in the Journal of Sedimentary Research this month!

Howri, a senior geologist with AGR PS in Norway has studied the Eocene Hecho Group submarine-fan and basin-plain turbidites in the south-central Pyrenees in Spain. These sandstones are analogues to several important turbiditic reservoirs in the Norwegian sea areas. The article sheds light on the reservoir quality problems faced in active margin marine turbidites.

Howri holds a PHD in geology from Uppsala University and is yet another demonstration an example of the outstanding talents we have within our organisation – something to be proud of! Internally and externally, Howri will pass on his knowledge through training courses one of which was held earlier this month.
